NIS Chief Might Be in Hot Water

Donga Ilbo is reporting that former head of the NIS, Kim Man Bok leaked more than just transcripts of his visit to Pyongyang on the eve of the 2007 presidential elections. He may have also leaked a report containing sensitive information to family and friends.
Kim tendered his resignation on the 16th but the Blue House has yet to accept.
According to the report, prosecutors are deciding whether the material in the leaked report counts as “state secrets.” If so, then he will face criminal prosecution
